Had some water damage to framing, drywall and trim and had to rip out and replace a small section of framing and the drywall/trim in the area. Black Oak was responsive even though it was a small job in comparison to other jobs they typically do. They knocked it out quickly and it was all completed inside of a week. They were neat and clean with the work and most importantly it’s all fixed again and looks great. I’ve worked with them before and once again I’d tell anyone that I’d hire no one else for renovations large or small. Scott and Ted are true pros that can handle any rennovation or construction. I also like them because they’re fellow veterans. They have the mentality, integrity and commitment to do the job right and stand behind what they do.

I work in the construction industry, and I can tell you Black Oak Construction is the most professional, organized, timely, and thorough home contracting firm you will find. Our project started and ended on time, on budget (which was specific and transparent due to the. preconstruction work they did). We received daily updates on the progress of our remodel. Scott and Ted were great to work with and excellent communicators (rare in the industry). If you’re planning a remodel, call Black Oak. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better firm to work with.

I was greatly impressed with how Scott listened to what we wanted and found a way to make it happen, even though some of our requests were atypical. He was willing to think outside the box and find creative solutions for design challenges he probably hadn’t faced before. Scott is the best contractor I’ve ever worked with and I will hire him for any future projects and renovations. I’ve recommended him several times since our project was completed and will continue to do so. Working with Scott was a great experience and the finished project is very impressive.

Customer satisfaction was a big priority for them. They were wonderful and I plan on using them again for future projects. I trust their judgment. I would not hesitate to refer them or call them just for their assistance on something small.
